Special collaboration with Lina Condes

'Love Me'

Previously a model and contestant for the title of Miss Ukraine, Lina Condes has chosen to instead divert her attention and talents towards the art world. As an artist of a new generation, she utilizes a wide range of mediums and tools to create compositions that modern visual practices are abundant in. By using painting, sculpture, graphic design, videography, and fashion she freely expresses her emotions and perception of the world. Her colorful, flat, and hysterical subject matter makes her work an interesting adaptation of contemporary issues.

Participating Artists:

 Tali Almog 'Wave'

“I believe we have many soulmates, and painting is one of mine”.

Spend five minutes with Tali and you are seduced and inspired by her sincerity, beauty, and soulful warmth. View her artwork and you will know instantly why this exotic Israeli is one of the most respected and sought after young artists.

Her positive outlook on life was birthed by the social constraints and her humble beginnings in Tel Aviv. Here is where she started painting at the age of ten. The first time she picked up a paint brush, she knew her talent was ingrained in her since birth.

She studied art and history in Tel Aviv, then moved to New York City for a few years. Tali then moved to Los Angeles where she studied privately for four years under a professor, at the Bezalel Academy of Art.

Dimitri Likisas 'Brigitte Bardot'

Dimitri’s work stems from a long tradition of using distinct dots of color in art, which the viewer’s mind blends together to create the final image. Playing with chromatic tonality and the dissection of visual planes, Dimitri creates works that seem to move and undulate within the canvas as if attempting to escape their two dimensional confines. While the dots work together in harmony to create the image, their circular nature acts in opposition to his square or rectangular canvases, reminding us of the basic elements of life and how atoms are in a constant movement – propelling against each other – creating matter itself.

Claude Charlier

French artist Claude Charlier is known for his hyper-realistic paintings of vintage and discarded objects, including cigarette packs, vintage lunch boxes and crushed soda cans. Charlier was born in France and studied music and fine art for much of his life. He maintained a career as a professional fashion photographer which led him to travel the world for many years and live not only in Europe and the USA, but for many years in Tokyo. It was during these travels that he was inspired by a discarded soda can and decided to create his Pop World Project. Charlier’s choice to paint the discarded objects acts as a means to recycle them, and thus the beauty and memories associated with the consumers’ use.

STMTS “Let It Free” 2013

Greek street artist STMTS is best known for the politically and emotionally charged, large-scale drawings of children he wheat pastes on various public buildings throughout Athens. Of his own motivations, the artist says: “I care about the social problems and more specifically about the kids and the new generations. The political circumstances affect all the problems of society, so they possibly also affect my work and inspiration.”

Beginning with a lengthy pre-planning process in his studio where he makes repeated sketches of his subjects, he then takes the completed work to the street for pasting. STMTS deliberately chooses old and dilapidated walls for his work to draw the attention of spectators to the physical and economic conditions surrounding the work.

STMTS has exhibited in the US and Europe, including shows at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago and The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens.

Our Events

Les Couleurs co-founders, Aura and Raminta, started the charity by organizing color-themed events that connected young professionals from various social circles in New York with one goal: party with a purpose, make an impact. The color theme relates to child's crayons in a box that always offer the promise of a playful artistic endeavor.

Nowadays our events are elegant soirees in beautiful venues with accomplished local artists, yet we still keep the playful color-theme true to our spirits.

Host your own "color" event, spread the word!

Hosting your own Les Couleurs "color" event is a great way to support the work we are doing as well as to have fun while doing it! By hosting an event you will build awareness, increase our base support and raise money to support out students in Haiti.
